The work of Musalaha gives us excitement to dream in our local & global context of what it means to immerse into the lives & stories of our "enemies" & make lifelong friendships with people whom we may perceive to have nothing in common with at all. Dream with us!
In the spring of 2025, we launched our first of we hope many "First Steps: Bridge Building Workshops" with the first being with a group from Fusion Church in Wauconda, Illinois.

Our hope with our "First Steps" workshops is to help our partners start the initial processing of what it means to build meaningful bridges to neighbors that we may not think we may have much in common with at all. ​

We're really excited that Megan, our board member, led a group from this workshop a week later to start building friendships with the Muslim community in Lake Villa, Illinois. ​

We have dreams for trainings, workshops, & bridge building events that go deeper than this workshop, but this workshop is a 1 hour meeting for a faith community to process with us why and how peacemaking and bridge building is a lost part of a our faith and culture that needs to be reclaimed especially in light of our Arab & Persian neighbors.
